Limitless Opportunities in the Heart of Pembrokeshire
Hook is a dynamic and creative community primary school in the heart of Pembrokeshire. Everything we do is for a purpose. Our curriculum is well-known for its innovative and engaging projects.
Most importantly of all, we live our core values: We Care. We Work. We Learn.

High Academic Standards
We ensure the best outcomes for pupils by using innovative strategies to enhance our teaching and learning. The pupils’ excellent achievement and progress are not only evident in the school’s progress results, they can also be seen clearly in the breadth and depth of their intellectual curiosity, revealed when they discuss their work, in the work itself, and in their intelligent and perceptive contributions in lessons. In recent years, as many as 90% of pupils achieve scores significantly ahead of the national average.

Honouring Tradition.
Inspiring Change.
Hook’s history and tradition are a key part of who we are. Opened almost one hundred and thirty years ago it is said that until the 1950s, you could hear the miners working whilst inside the school building. Throughout Hook's history, its willingness to innovate has seen the school thrive.
