Music at Hook
Music is a strength of Hook School. Our aim is to provide high quality musical opportunities for all pupils, regardless of musical standard, and in any musical genre in which they show interest.
Each week we have a music specialist work with classes and pupils also have the opportunity to learn individual instruments.

– Throughout the year we use the large hall in the sports club to showcase pupils' talents. Special events include our Eisteddfod to celebrate St. David’s Day, Christmas concerts and special assemblies. We are very fortunate to have strong links with the church where we annually celebrate Harvest and Christmas with carol concerts.
Our school is part of a wonderful community and the support we have from parents whilst holding these events is outstanding. The children always have the opportunity to perform to large and appreciative audiences which is a great way for developing their confidence and performance skills.
Creative arts are the heartbeat of human expression, weaving together imagination and reality. They allow us to explore new perspectives, evoke emotions, and inspire change through the power of creativity.
